As the title suggests, it is the fictional island conceived in J.M. Barrie’s Peter Pan that inspired Neverland for SATB saxophone quartet. Similarly to this 'utopia’ of an imaginary island where childhood lasts forever, this short work is about always trying to hold onto your inner child, and dreaming about the exciting prospect of never having to grow up…Â
