This arrangement is an adaptation of the original for string orchestra.
The solo part (Violin Solo), the bass (Violoncello, Double Bass) and the third voice (Viola) of the orchestral score have been adopted unchanged (Solo Instrument, Pedal and Manual/Left Hand).
The pizzicato chords of the 1st and 2nd Violins of the orchestra have been transferred to the Manual/Right Hand and converted into a sound field, which places the solo instrument even more firmly at the center of the sound and thus further enhances the effect of the exceptionally tense melodic line and opens up new interpretive possibilities for the soloist.
There are arrangements for 15 solo instruments with organ accompaniment, including some unusual scorings such as Recorder (Soprano, Alto), English Horn, Horn, Saxophones (Soprano, Alto, Tenor) and Tuba/Euphonium, and there is also an arrangement for Organ Solo, in which the three accompaniment voices (1st Violin, 2nd Violin, Viola) have been transferred to the Manual/Left Hand.
