Featuring Ray's signature blend of Gospel grooves and secular Rhythm & Blues, 'Hallelujah, I Love Her So' is deservedly considered among his greatest hits. Released in 1956 on the Atlantic label, the song reached number five on the Billboard R&B chart. The recognisable Tenor Sax solo from Don Wilkerson was replicated on all of Ray's live gigs as it became as much a part of the song as it's catchy melody.
