Everyday People

Description "Everyday People"

When one thinks of chants for change or calls to arms perhaps the first tone in your head is a march, a fanfare -- something powerful and engaging.  But in 1968 Sly Stone turned the protest song on it's head with the perfectly poised 'Everyday People'.  It's understated message of peace and equality struck a chord with the public and the charts -- it was Sly & The Family Stone's first #1 single on the US Soul Charts.  This groovy bit of peace and love has been professionally arranged for 2 Horns (Trumpet, Tenor Sax), 4 Rhythm (Drums, Guitar, Bass, Keyboards), Vocals & Background Vocals by Shaun Evans.  It is presented as part of the PepperHorn Collections series from PepperHorn Music.
