Description "5 zweistimmige Inventionen"

Inventions nos. 1, 6, 9, 10 and 11. The violin part takes over the upper part of the original, while the arranger has taken the liberty of transposing the lower part up an octave in places, thereby reducing the distance to the violin somewhat and preventing the part from becoming "grumpy". Nevertheless, there is very little to play in the thumb position, so that the pieces should be manageable even for less advanced bassists. However, the music itself remains quite demanding.
