Composer's note
Russian Rag is the first rag I ever wrote upon a commission from ABC Classics for a CD “Rags to Riches” played on piano by Donna Coleman in 1996. The piece has been arranged by me for many different instruments. The version for bassoon and piano was arranged for Lorelei Dowling.
