Pavane, Sarabande und Bourrée op. 81, 82 und 62 - Sheet Music for Solo Piano Mel Bonis
Product Description
Pavane, Sarabande and Bourrée are three independent piano pieces in comfortably playable keys, none of them too long. The Pavane in B minor (op. 81, Poco Andante) opens in a stately manner, the Sarabande in F-sharp minor (op. 82, Lent et solennel) stands solemnly in the middle, and the Bourrée in B minor (op. 62, Allegro) provides the lively closing piece and also works well as an encore. All three go back to courtly or folk dances; in Bonis's hands they become Romantic character pieces. The Bourrée was composed in 1904, the Pavane and Sarabande in 1909. The order in the volume follows not the date of composition but the tempo: from the calm beginning to the lively ending. If you only need one piece, choose the individual edition. If you would like to play all three together, you will find them here in one volume.
