Mirando is inspired by the Orto sul Colle dell’Infinito di Giacomo Leopardi in Recanati, where the great Italian poet conceived his masterpiece, “L’Infinito”, so dear to me. I retraced the poem verses step by step, I savoured the sounds, the smells, the colours of this enchanted place and “…sedendo e mirando, interminati spazi di là da quella, e sovrumani silenzi, e profondissima quiete… e il naufragar m’è dolce in questo mare”. - Olivia Belli
